Our cutting-edge language education program employs an inquiry-driven learning method, forming the core of a diverse curriculum with numerous course options. These span from the Early Modern era to contemporary times, organized into four main areas: history and politics, literature, popular and visual culture, plus linguistics and translation. Students gain access to exceptional Library resources - featuring rare manuscripts, an extensive French literature archive, and modern digital materials - alongside our longstanding collaboration with Manchester's Alliance Française. This partnership organizes year-round cultural activities including film showings, lectures, theatrical performances, concerts, art displays, and immersive language courses. Instruction comes from globally recognized faculty, including two recipients of Manchester's Teacher of the Year honor, supported by specialized language instructors. Over 70% of our teaching staff are native French speakers, with instruction conducted entirely in French starting from the first year.
