This three-year course offers comprehensive training in biological and veterinary animal sciences, equipping you with practical skills and knowledge for careers in veterinary-related fields, research, conservation, animal welfare, and biotech/pharmaceutical industries. The Master of Bioveterinary Sciences (MBiol) extends to four years, where students complete the initial BSc in Bioveterinary Sciences before progressing to an advanced fourth year, contingent on academic achievement.
During the first three years, you'll explore diverse subjects such as animal behavior, anatomy, husbandry, and epidemiology, with options to focus on specific areas and conduct independent research projects.
The fourth (Master's) year focuses on refining research capabilities and professional skills for those pursuing advanced research careers (including PhD studies or industry roles) or seeking to elevate their qualifications. Participants will collaborate with a research team on a substantial project and have opportunities to apply for summer research internships (domestically or internationally) or gain industry experience during their final year.
