Our BSc (Hons) Equine Bioveterinary Science program blends academic learning with practical application, equipping you with both scientific expertise and industry-relevant skills.
During your studies at Writtle, you'll examine key aspects of equine bioveterinary science such as reproductive biology, disease patterns, equine wellness, immune responses and drug treatments, dietary needs, athletic performance, and microbial studies. Your learning will take place in the Equine Training and Development Centre, featuring comprehensive facilities like an operational stable complex, riding arenas, and specialized equine therapy spaces.

32 UCAS Tariff points from A Level (or equivalent).
5 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
