Explore the Eighteenth-Century Worlds pathway, an immersive investigation into Europe's history, literature, and visual culture alongside its global connections spanning from the Atlantic to Asia. This distinctive interdisciplinary postgraduate program allows you to study in one of Britain's foremost Atlantic port cities, renowned for its 18th-century heritage, architecture, and cultural landmarks. The city boasts more national museums and galleries than any other English location outside London.
Our research-focused faculty and diverse module offerings create an unparalleled academic experience, tracing the emergence of a globalized world during the 1700s. Students have the option to spend their second semester at the University of Paris-Diderot, completing modules while developing their feasibility study. Additional information is available upon request. For those remaining on campus, the program features annual guest lectures from Parisian scholars.
