As an aerospace engineering student, you'll explore diverse subjects and learning approaches, from conducting research and analyzing reports to designing and constructing aircraft. At Liverpool, you can study various disciplines including aerodynamics, aircraft structures, flight dynamics and control, propulsion systems, avionics, aerospace materials, and aircraft design.
Aerospace engineers create, evaluate, construct, test, and maintain flying vehicles along with their components and related systems. Their work extends beyond Earth's atmosphere, encompassing spaceflight as well.
Through independent research projects, you'll gain expertise to pioneer new ideas in your chosen technical specialization. Our Aerospace Engineering programs are fully accredited (or awaiting accreditation) by professional institutions like the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, serving as a pathway toward achieving Chartered Engineer status.
