Lincoln, a city with ancient Roman origins, offers a rich historical backdrop for studying architecture and examining how heritage and archaeology intersect with modern design. The BArch (Hons) Architecture program equips students for professional practice, focusing on innovative design and creative thinking. As participants in the RIBA Mentoring Scheme, third-year students collaborate with practicing architects, gaining valuable industry insights. This RIBA-validated program meets ARB standards, exempting graduates from Part 1 exams needed for UK architectural registration. Serving as the initial phase of a three-part qualification process, the University of Lincoln also offers Parts 2 and 3 programs required for full professional recognition. With its global outlook, the course emphasizes creative problem-solving to prepare students for international architectural careers. Our faculty consists of practicing designers committed to developing both visionary and functional structures. The Lincoln School of Architecture and the Built Environment fosters collaborative, interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to develop their unique design philosophies.
