The BA (Hons) Architecture program examines diverse design methodologies and practices, helping students cultivate their unique creative identity. Evaluation primarily occurs through project-based coursework that combines theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and design application. In studio settings, learners receive guidance in crafting research papers, technical analyses, and design concepts. Studio instruction draws from contemporary research, emphasizing drawing as an essential instrument for observation, analysis, and expression - spanning traditional sketching to advanced digital visualization. State-of-the-art CAD systems and workshop resources enable students to investigate and present designs using cutting-edge physical and digital methods. Through collaboration with the Design for Exhibition and Museums program, the course cultivates professional exhibition standards. Maintaining sketchbooks and portfolios allows students to track their artistic and career growth. This degree is offered at both Lincoln's Brayford Pool Campus and Hong Kong's SHAPE/VTC institution. Applicants may choose either location, with frequent study abroad and exchange options available. The BA (Hons) Architecture curriculum equips graduates with globally relevant expertise for careers in architecture and building industries.
