Computer science is a dynamic and multifaceted field encompassing everything from overseeing large-scale IT initiatives to pioneering groundbreaking theories and technologies. Our approach combines scientific rigor with innovative thinking. Faculty members have been instrumental in shaping contemporary Informatics trends, which directly influences our curriculum featuring advanced and creative course offerings. Doctoral candidates undertake self-directed research projects mentored by an advisory team. Typically, full-time students complete their research within 3.0-3.5 years, while part-time students have 6.0-6.5 years. An additional year (or remaining portion) may be used for thesis preparation. The dissertation, limited to 50,000 words, must present novel insights and research worthy of publication. Final degree conferral requires successful defense of the thesis during an oral examination.
