This program is ideal if you want comprehensive Geography training while focusing mainly on Physical Geography. Sharing a first year with BA students, you'll then choose from diverse Physical Geography modules in Years 2-3, exploring river systems, tropical forests, deserts, and climate issues. Human Geography options remain available, allowing you to customize your path as either a generalist or Physical Geography specialist. You'll develop valuable skills in remote sensing, GIS, statistics, and data visualization. The course features UK field trips to Devon, Dartmoor, and the Lake District in Years 1-2, plus a Year 2 expedition to Almeria's desert in Spain. Year 3 offers optional global fieldwork opportunities. Should you wish to shift focus to Human Geography after Year 1, you can switch to the BA program for Year 2.

A/AS-levels: ABB. Two AS-levels considered in place of one A-level. Geography not essential.
EPQ with A-levels: BBB + EPQ at grade B.
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths.
Access to HE Diploma: Pass relevant diploma with a minimum of 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be at Distinction.
BTEC Nationals: Pass Diploma with DDM.
International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 30 points. Minimum of 3 in HL Maths, or 4 in SL Maths if grade C/4 not held at GCSE. Minimum of 4 in English Language required if grade C/4 not held at GCSE.
T Levels: Distinction in either: Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction or Science (with an Occupational Specialism in Laboratory technician).
