This program is ideal if you want to explore Geography comprehensively while focusing mainly on Physical Geography. Sharing a first year with BA students, you'll then choose from various Physical Geography modules in Years 2 and 3, studying subjects like river dynamics, tropical ecosystems, arid environments, and climate science. Human Geography options remain available in later years, allowing you to customize your studies as either a broad geographer or a Physical Geography specialist. You'll develop valuable skills in remote sensing, GIS, statistics, and data visualization. The course features UK field trips to Devon, Dartmoor, and the Lake District in Years 1 and 2, plus an expedition to Almeria, Spain (Europe's sole desert) in Year 2. Optional international fieldwork is available in Year 3. Should you wish to shift focus to Human Geography after Year 1, you can transition to the BA program for Year 2.

A/AS-levels: ABB. Two AS-levels considered in place of one A-level. Geography not essential.
EPQ with A-levels: BBB + EPQ at grade B.
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths.
Access to HE Diploma: Pass relevant diploma with a minimum of 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be at Distinction.
BTEC Nationals: Pass Diploma with DDM.
International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 30 points. Minimum of 3 in HL Maths, or 4 in SL Maths if grade C/4 not held at GCSE. Minimum of 4 in English Language required if grade C/4 not held at GCSE.
T Levels: Distinction in either: Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction or Science (with an Occupational Specialism in Laboratory technician).
