This program is ideal if you're passionate about concentrating solely on geography's social science aspects. You'll examine human, digital, and environmental geographies while also delving into Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, and Modern Languages. This approach enables you to investigate urgent geographical issues such as migration, environmental policy, sustainability, and to analyze them through an interdisciplinary social science lens. The curriculum emphasizes analytical reasoning and cultivates both quantitative and qualitative research capabilities. We foster innovative thinking in research methodologies, teaching students to approach problems with both critical analysis and creative solutions. Our cutting-edge instructional and evaluation techniques prompt students to contemplate Human Geography's evolving role in contemporary society. While this program excludes physical geography, certain modules bridge the human-physical geography divide (like Climate Change studies). If this program appeals to you but you'd prefer keeping physical geography options open, you might also explore our Geography BA degree.
