Combining social sciences with geography, you'll explore firsthand how people engage with their surroundings and shape communities, cultures, and economic systems.
Our program offers varied modules designed and taught by internationally renowned scholars specializing in human geography, environmental studies, political geography, development research, anthropology, political economy, and science and technology studies.
Situated between northern rural landscapes and the vibrant urban centers of Liverpool and Manchester, we provide access to some of Britain's most distinctive geographic regions. Fieldwork opportunities include visits to Manchester's city center, Cumbria's coastline and Lake District, plus international destinations like Croatia.

Required Subjects A level Geography is recommended, or alternatively one of the following subjects: Anthropology, Classics, Economics, English Literature, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, World Development.
GCSE Mathematics grade C or 4, English Language grade C or 4
IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component. TOEFL IBT - 87 overall, minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 17 in speaking and 20 in writing. Cambridge English: Advanced CAE 176 overall with at least 162 in each element.

International Baccalaureate 32 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including Geography or alternative cognate subject at HL grade 6
