In your Ancient History and Archaeology BA program, you'll explore past societies and cultures, focusing particularly on Ancient Greece, Rome, and the broader ancient civilizations of North Africa and the Near East. Through studying classical texts and archaeological artifacts, you'll gain insights into these ancient peoples and their enduring influences. The archaeology component emphasizes hands-on learning, offering fieldwork opportunities and excursions to develop expertise in identifying historical materials. Our cutting-edge facilities include specialized labs for human bone analysis, environmental studies, zooarchaeology, and ceramics research.
