We address social justice and citizenship concerns across local, national, and global levels, examining historical, current, and emerging issues. Facing growing societal diversity, urban inequalities, and climate change disparities, we pioneer collaborative research with civil society groups and communities to combat prejudice, inequality, and marginalization, striving for greater equity worldwide. Our extensive network of research collaborations spans from grassroots NGOs to governmental agencies. This impactful work is made possible through consistent funding from prestigious national and international bodies including UK research councils, the European Union, the British Academy, and the Leverhulme Trust.
