Pursuing a research degree in the Faculty of Biological Sciences allows you to acquire and hone skills as an autonomous investigator in your selected discipline. Guided by your principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors, you'll have the opportunity to conduct pioneering research on specific biological challenges while joining an extensive research network employing interdisciplinary methods to address contemporary scientific inquiries. During your PhD journey, you'll not only deepen your expertise in your specialized field but also cultivate additional competencies through structured training initiatives, seminar participation, and conference engagements.

Investigating the processes behind virus-triggered oncogenesis. Our studies encompass diverse areas including cancer genomics and transcriptomics analysis, structural biology of regulatory pathways in malignancies, mechanistic insights into cellular communication systems, abnormal tissue regulation, the study of oncogenic viruses, and the identification and development of potential therapeutic compounds.
