Pursuing a research degree in the Faculty of Biological Sciences allows you to cultivate expertise as an autonomous researcher in your selected discipline. Guided by your principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors, you'll engage in pioneering investigations addressing specific biological challenges while joining a vibrant research network employing interdisciplinary methods to solve contemporary scientific problems. During your doctoral studies, you'll not only deepen your specialized research capabilities but also enhance professional skills through structured training initiatives, seminar participation, and conference engagements.

Our work focuses on uncovering the molecular and cellular mechanisms behind cancer while developing precision treatments. Investigations span diverse areas including cancer genomics and transcriptomics, structural biology of regulatory pathways, mechanistic studies of cellular signaling systems, abnormal tissue development, oncogenic virus biology, and the discovery and design of potential therapeutic compounds.
