The Cardiovascular research unit operates within the Cardiovascular and Sport and Exercise Sciences division. Our investigations, organized into six thematic areas, examine cardiac function in both healthy and diseased states, with complementary studies on skeletal muscle. Spanning molecular-level analysis to whole-organ physiology, augmented by computational modeling, we conduct internationally recognized research with clinical applications.
