Pursuing a postgraduate research degree demands commitment and enthusiasm for your chosen field. The journey is demanding but immensely fulfilling. As a doctoral candidate, you'll undertake specialized research under the guidance of a principal supervisor and additional co-supervisors.

Our research focuses on the crucial role of Earth's atmosphere as a vital resource for sustainable development. Atmospheric chemistry significantly impacts air quality, public health, and global climate patterns - factors that shape our planet's future. Space exploration to other celestial bodies demonstrates the remarkable diversity of atmospheric formations, providing insights into Earth's own atmospheric evolution. Advanced astronomical research reveals intricate chemical processes in stellar environments. With over a thousand exoplanets identified in our galaxy, scientists are now beginning to analyze their atmospheric characteristics. Deciphering atmospheric chemistry complexities requires multifaceted approaches, combining laboratory experiments, field studies, computer simulations, and theoretical modeling.
