This unique one-year MRes program prioritizes cultivating specialized skills and their real-world implementation in exercise and rehabilitation contexts.

Our MRes program operates within the sport and exercise sciences department, home to renowned rehabilitation experts where students learn from top UK sport and exercise scientists. As members of the cardiovascular and sport and exercise sciences research group - consistently ranked among the best nationally and internationally - we explore diverse subjects grounded in foundational research, enabling you to tackle research challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants should normally have a bachelor's degree with at least a 2:1, or equivalent (for example a pass in MBChB, BDS), in a relevant scientific discipline, normally biological, sport and exercise or biomedical sciences, but a natural sciences or engineering graduate will be considered subject to evidence of biological knowledge at an appropriate level.

IELTS 6.5 overall and no less than 6.0 in each component skill
TOEFL iBT - 88 overall and no less than 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking and 21 in writing.
