A Master of Arts by Research (MAR) in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science enables students to conduct independent research at the postgraduate level. This program often serves as an ideal foundation for pursuing a PhD. Students will develop and compose a thesis of roughly 30,000 words on a topic they select.
