This unique program provides chances to cultivate critical and analytical skills for assessing and demonstrating how musical involvement connects to wellbeing. You'll acquire abilities directly applicable to careers in arts therapy, education, community music, music administration, policy development, research impact roles, or PhD studies. The curriculum will broaden your knowledge while equipping you with independent research capabilities, including navigating methodological and ethical considerations in real-world studies.

Through the Applied Professional Practice core module, you'll actively engage in self-reflection and build professional connections with our partner institutions. Your capstone project involves a self-directed dissertation exploring a music and wellbeing topic of your choice, complemented by optional modules in music psychology, musicology, performance, or arts management.
