This combined degree program allows you to build expertise by studying both the scientific and philosophical aspects of life, while gaining historical insight into how these disciplines have developed. You'll engage in hands-on laboratory experiments alongside theoretical studies, acquiring comprehensive biological competencies while examining the progression of scientific ideas, the connections between magic, science, and faith, and the essence of scientific understanding.

Through required and elective courses, you'll deepen your grasp of fundamental subjects including scientific philosophy, cellular biology, and genetics, while specializing in areas such as biological philosophy, ecological behavior, and developmental animal biology.
