Our research investigates how economic and business operations influence society at large. This encompasses active participation in research and fostering leadership growth among local businesses. We analyze supply chain effectiveness and work to improve performance across various business sectors, including small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, and public administration. Our studies also focus on practical policy applications, whether concerning public management, assessing local economic strategies like the 'Preston Model' for community wealth creation, or analyzing policy responses to Brexit at national and international levels. We collaborate with experts and professionals from diverse fields such as education, healthcare, law, technology, digital finance, entrepreneurship, tourism, labor studies, economics, and banking. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to more effectively address the complex challenges organizations encounter in pursuing sustainable prosperity for all by 2030. These efforts align with our School's core purpose - "to drive meaningful change through research-informed business and enterprise solutions."
