The program requires travel to clinical placement locations across Lancashire and Cumbria, with journeys potentially lasting 90 minutes each way. Around half of the curriculum involves clinical placements in diverse settings including urban clinics, rural practices, specialized hospitals, and GP surgeries. The remaining instruction occurs on campus, delivered by clinicians with extensive field experience, including four qualified physician associates.
You'll train in cutting-edge facilities featuring fully-equipped clinical skills labs that simulate both hospital and general practice environments.
Gain thorough anatomical knowledge in our specialized Human Anatomy Resource and Learning Centers, utilizing advanced tools like the Anatomage table and medical imaging technology.
Over 50% of your studies will involve clinical placements with our NHS partners throughout Lancashire and/or Cumbria, with £2,500 annual support provided for placement travel expenses.
