The Youth and Justice team concentrates on challenges affecting young individuals engaged in unlawful activities, as well as broader matters concerning the inclusion of children and youth, their involvement in decision-making processes, and their community experiences. Our vibrant, cross-disciplinary team leads the way in developing creative ethnographic research approaches for working with minors and adolescents. We maintain strong connections with both academic circles and policy implementation networks, which we aim to expand. Our work prioritizes impactful research that drives meaningful change. John brings extensive social work expertise accumulated through years of practice, teaching, and leadership roles, primarily in Liverpool. He instructs on social work principles, research methodologies, ethnic diversity, and social work practice. His academic investigations primarily explore ethnic considerations and social work, with special attention to children, adolescents, and family units.
