This program blends hands-on flight training with the foundational theories of Aerospace Engineering. Read less Apply classroom knowledge directly in our advanced full-motion simulator. The curriculum provides the academic foundation needed for a pilot's license while earning an engineering degree simultaneously. During Year 2, you'll complete theoretical studies for your Private Pilot License (PPL), with success measured by passing Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) examinations - a crucial requirement for PPL certification. While this degree doesn't cover practical flight training (typically 45 hours), we collaborate with a flight school that offers this component separately. In Year 4, you'll begin theoretical studies for the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), with university exams preparing you for future CAA ATPL tests - perfect for aspiring commercial pilots.
