In this Aerospace Engineering program, you'll apply knowledge from our expert faculty to analyze and design aircraft. Read less The curriculum covers aerodynamics, structural design, propulsion systems, flight mechanics, mechanical engineering principles, and CAD. During your third year, you'll undertake an innovative aerospace research project, followed by a collaborative design initiative in Year 4 that develops teamwork skills. Graduates gain comprehensive aerospace engineering training, equipping them for diverse career paths from conceptual design to operational flight. Career opportunities span aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, manufacturing, and emerging fields like biotechnology and electronics. Those inclined toward theoretical aspects can pursue academic research or teaching, including postgraduate aerospace studies at our institution. Our Aerospace Society hosts lectures, industry visits, and competitions, while students are encouraged to join the Royal Aeronautical Society and attend local chapter events.
