For those passionate about problem-solving and understanding how things function, our Physics Foundation Entry program serves as a gateway to our full Physics degrees. Foundation Entry courses are perfect if you possess the aptitude for degree-level study but lack the formal qualifications needed for direct entry into an honors program. The initial Foundation Year follows a standardized curriculum for all physics and astrophysics students. With intentionally limited class sizes, you'll receive personalized attention and support. This Physics Foundation Entry pathway opens doors to careers in industrial sectors, government research facilities, international labs, and observatories. Numerous BSc (Hons) graduates pursue advanced studies, including physics and engineering MSc programs. Others opt for teaching qualifications (PGCE) or secure positions in industrial or government research settings. Additional career possibilities include roles in financial organizations or science journalism.
