This degree addresses key contemporary challenges such as: Community development practices, Human trafficking and cross-border crime, Worldwide migration and refugee crises, Sustainable growth initiatives, Human rights advocacy and societal transformation, Community adaptability, Global health emergencies, Environmental concerns. As part of this International Social Work and Community Development program, you'll have chances to engage in volunteer placements and participate in relevant projects. You'll create meaningful impacts in people's lives, whether through local community involvement or careers in policy development, public services, or international aid. The program is delivered at our Burnley Campus, where intimate class sizes foster strong connections among students, faculty, and staff. Important note: This degree doesn't provide qualification for social worker registration. For those seeking professional recognition, our BA (Hons) Social Work program is accredited by Social Work England.
