Our Philosophy and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) program enables you to channel your philosophical interests toward addressing contemporary global challenges through this interdisciplinary combination.
Global Sustainable Development (GSD) involves interconnected issues that call for creative thinking and actionable solutions.
Through Philosophy and GSD studies, you'll explore how historical philosophers formulated groundbreaking ideas to tackle the dilemmas of their era.
Modern challenges like worldwide disparities, food insecurity, and environmental crises necessitate fresh perspectives. In the Philosophy Department, you'll examine fundamental ethical frameworks and concepts like biopower and existentialism while honing essential analytical and communication abilities.
Concurrently, GSD studies will encourage you to adopt a multidisciplinary viewpoint, examining problems through various lenses. You'll need to think innovatively and remain open to diverse viewpoints from international classmates. We'll push you to take an engaged role in your educational journey.
Opportunities like optional internships, overseas study programs, and certification courses can further enrich your academic experience.
