Nations in the Asia Pacific play a pivotal role in the world economy today. The curriculum for this program provides comprehensive insights into the reasons behind this influence. You'll undertake intensive language studies in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Russian at our Preston campus, followed by an immersive year abroad in the region. The Korean program presents a wide array of subjects, encompassing not just language acquisition but also Korean heritage, cultural studies, linguistic analysis, and political systems. Language instruction begins at the introductory level, developing proficiency in speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Interactive teaching methods characterize the classes, complemented by conversation sessions led by native Korean speakers, offering ample practice in real-world communication. Beyond the academic curriculum, we organize various Korean cultural activities.
