The School of Politics and International Relations maintains a distinguished legacy of exceptional research conducted by both faculty and students. Our dynamic academic environment draws scholars globally who pursue cutting-edge studies in our field.
Program Highlights
Our research degrees offer structured academic training paired with personalized guidance in a nurturing setting, fostering consistent engagement between faculty and candidates. For instance, the School hosts weekly Graduate Research Training Seminars where students present their projects and gain insights from colleagues and professors.
Candidates benefit from scheduled consultations with their primary advisor and support team, along with chances to work alongside other faculty through departmental seminars and the initiatives of our four specialized research centers.
We actively encourage participation in our yearly postgraduate research symposium, featuring faculty critiques of student work and keynote addresses by visiting experts. Doctoral researchers can additionally access professional development resources through the University's Graduate and Researcher College.
