The School of Engineering's Mechanical Engineering Group provides both a Master of Research (MRes) and a PhD program in Mechanical Engineering. The full-time MRes is a one-year program culminating in a research thesis, while the PhD program spans three years. These research-focused degrees enable students to work on innovative projects in cutting-edge Mechanical Engineering areas.
