Kent's Anthropology program is celebrated for its vibrant postgraduate community and significant contributions to both new and established areas of anthropological study. With extensive regional knowledge and diverse thematic focuses, we provide guidance on numerous subjects spanning social, biological, and visual anthropology. This program offers flexible study options: one year full-time or two years part-time. Students develop their thesis under the mentorship of one or two faculty members. Our active research community explores the full spectrum of social anthropology. All our Master's programs in Anthropology carry research training accreditation from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), equipping graduates for advanced studies in social and biological anthropology. Alumni frequently pursue doctoral research or apply their qualifications in roles with global organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and international consultancy projects.
