We invite applications for postgraduate law research at the PhD level across numerous legal disciplines. Our expertise spans diverse fields including contract law, international law, maritime law, comparative justice, criminal justice, human rights, EU law, public law, and more.

Each program involves students developing an in-depth research thesis on a self-selected topic, guided by faculty specialists. PhD candidates submit a 100,000-word dissertation and undergo a viva voce (oral defense) examination.

Our postgraduate researchers form an integral part of the Law School's community, actively contributing to our dynamic research environment. Students receive dedicated supervision from at least two faculty members, research methodology training, and funding support for academic travel and conference participation. We additionally organize specialized workshops, seminars, and conferences exclusively for our PhD candidates.
