Our Medicine with a Gateway Year program serves as an access initiative aimed at increasing opportunities for students from underrepresented communities to enter the medical field.
The initial Gateway Year takes place at the University of Hull campus, where you'll strengthen your scientific foundation, improve academic skills, and gain insights into professional healthcare practices and the NHS system.
Through clinical placements across Hull and nearby regions, you'll interact with patients, cultivating the strong communication abilities and compassionate care approach that distinguish our program graduates.

A LEVELS: BBC-ABB . BBC including B in Biology and Chemistry and third A level in any subject (predictions of AAB or above are not accepted).
International Baccalaureate - Our standard offer is 29 points in the International Baccalaureate with 14 in three Higher Level subjects, including 5 in both Biology and Chemistry.
IELTS score of 7.5 with a minimum of 7.0 in every component, obtained within the last two years
TOEFL- Total score of 105 with minimum 24 in writing, 26 in speaking and 22 in both listening and reading, obtained in the last two years
