As one of the UK's most historic medical institutions, Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry leverages its extensive heritage to deliver cutting-edge medical education, equipping students for successful careers as physicians. Our five-year Malta-based MBBS program offers a distinctive option compared to our London curriculum. Instruction in English is provided by both Barts academics and Maltese clinicians educated at our School. A research-driven foundation strengthens our core program, connecting classroom learning to faculty innovations across laboratory research, pharmaceutical development, and public health initiatives. Moving beyond conventional lectures, our small-group problem-based learning approach fosters independent clinical reasoning skills.

Medical degrees from Queen Mary University of London are globally recognized, giving our alumni a competitive advantage in the job market. We anticipate Malta graduates will pursue medical careers within the NHS or international healthcare systems, undertaking specialized training in either general practice or hospital-based medicine.
