We focus on educating about climate change: both historical patterns and modern human-caused global warming. Our curriculum covers hazards, conservation, and river systems in physical geography, alongside sustainability, urban development, and globalization in human geography.

First-year students explore both physical and human geography while acquiring technical skills like GIS. In subsequent years, you can specialize in physical geography or maintain a mixed approach, selecting from various modules to customize your degree according to your interests.

Fieldwork forms a core component of our programs, bringing classroom theories to life. Students participate in local day excursions and extended trips within the UK and internationally, with recent destinations including Almeria, Tenerife, and Iceland. An optional year abroad is also available for further international study.
