Our Music Technology and Composition BMus(Hons) program helps you refine your abilities in both traditional acoustic composition and digital audio workstation (DAW) music production, while also enhancing your performance and production expertise. You'll explore the full spectrum of technology-driven composition, from crafting pieces for particular instruments to utilizing studio equipment and computers for sound manipulation and multimedia projects.

This program prepares you for careers in composition, sound design, sonic arts, or music production through hands-on experience in cutting-edge professional facilities. With access to 21 specialized studios, you'll enjoy abundant space for recording and composing. Our extensive collection includes the latest DAWs, plugins, synthesizers, microphones, and audio processing gear, consistently updated to meet industry benchmarks. This music technology program holds accreditation from Joint Audio Media Education Support (JAMES), signifying its endorsement by top industry experts and demonstrating quality to both students and future employers.

Throughout your studies, you'll collaborate with accomplished tutors, globally recognized researchers, and guest artists.
