Our research focuses on Renewable Energy Technologies, covering specialized fields such as sustainable power solutions, intelligent grid systems, innovative wind power collection methods, battery storage solutions, energy conservation systems, and nanomaterials. We also explore fuel cells, green building designs, phase change materials (PCM), piezoelectric and thermoelectric power generation, engine emission reduction, transparent and high-performance engine development, traditional and cutting-edge engine instrumentation, as well as thermofluid modeling/simulation and experimental investigations in energy and fluid dynamics.

Our MSc by Research programs help students cultivate advanced research capabilities and expertise. Qualification Requirements

First class Honours BEng degree in a relevant Engineering discipline including Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Materials Science. Strong applicants with a 2.1 qualification may also be considered. Personal attributes including a drive to conduct research, self-motivation and the ability to work independently and within a team are essential.

IELTS - 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
TOEFL IBT - Score of 79 with band scores of reading 18, writing 17, listening 17, speaking 20, Pearson Test of English (PTE) - 58 (with no less than 42 in any one band)
