The REACT program offers comprehensive insights into major renewable energy technologies and the factors impacting their utilization. You'll gain fundamental knowledge about solar, wind, and marine energy systems, along with understanding renewable energy distribution, integration into carbon-neutral infrastructure, and the economic and environmental considerations influencing renewable choices. Before your first-year summer break, you'll be assigned a dissertation project. You'll consult with your supervisor to refine your topic, ensuring alignment with both your interests and your supervisor's expertise. This extensive research project spans both semesters of your second year, allowing you to deeply explore an engineering problem while honing research skills valuable for academic pursuits or industrial careers. Project options will cover various aspects of the REaCT MSc curriculum. Evaluation components include participation in a mini-conference (featuring a poster, research paper, and presentation), an extended abstract, and a final dissertation.
