Our accredited Environmental Management and Ecology program prepares you to confront pressing environmental challenges. The curriculum explores critical topics including climate change, biodiversity decline, sustainable food systems, water conservation, pollution control, habitat rehabilitation, and rewilding initiatives - providing the professional competencies and hands-on fieldwork experience needed to drive environmental stewardship. The Herts BSc in Environmental Management and Ecology develops the technical expertise and practical abilities required for leadership in environmental conservation. From climate emergencies and species extinction to ecological threats, non-native species, resource sustainability, and ecosystem restoration, our program delivers the knowledge to address modern environmental concerns. These challenges often stem from ecological imbalances, making ecological principles, implementation strategies, and management techniques central to our coursework.
