The journalism component covers ethical practices, audience analysis, and the complete storytelling process from interviews to polished pieces. You'll create content across mediums—from digital blogs to traditional print—covering both global news and personal interest topics. The creative writing curriculum focuses on developing, refining, and presenting your work through analyzing literary techniques and producing original fiction, poetry, scripts, and nonfiction. Additional opportunities include educational collaborations, expert lectures, international study options, and professional internships.
