Collaborate with internationally renowned research teams across various disciplines while pursuing a Science research degree (MPhil/PhD) at the University of Greenwich.

Our institution provides cutting-edge research training in diverse fields such as chemistry, pharmacy, biomedical science, environmental science, and sports science. This research program is developed through the combined expertise of four departments: Medway School of Pharmacy, the Natural Resources Institute, Life and Sports Science, and Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Environmental Science. Students benefit from access to modern laboratories and advanced computing resources.

As a research student, you'll generate and analyze novel insights, building upon your deep understanding of your chosen field. Our students have recently undertaken projects involving solar energy conversion, fragment-based pharmaceutical development, accelerated carbonation for soil remediation, and bio-diesel production from rapeseed oil. Graduates emerge well-prepared for careers in both academic and industrial research settings.

We strongly recommend reaching out to potential MPhil/PhD supervisors from our School of Science faculty early in the process. These academic mentors will assist with your application and provide valuable guidance for developing your research proposal.
