Our MPhilPhD program in marketing, events, and tourism research enables you to conduct in-depth, critical investigations into one or more of these disciplines with guidance from experienced supervisors.
This MPhilPhD program focuses on creating significant original research in your selected area. Differing from structured courses, it emphasizes independent research and making novel contributions to academic knowledge. During your first year, you'll complete coursework to enhance your skills in collecting, interpreting, and presenting both quantitative and qualitative data.
The Tourism and Marketing Research Center faculty can provide supervision for research projects spanning tourism management, hospitality studies, event coordination, digital marketing, advertising, media analysis, and public relations. Additionally, we facilitate research in tourism policy, governance structures, business innovation, digital tourism trends, sustainable consumption, and wellness tourism.
