This chemical engineering program prepares you for a career as a professional engineer capable of addressing real-world challenges with practical solutions. Our three-year chemical engineering curriculum covers diverse subjects aligned with innovative research, emerging technologies, and expanding fields within chemical engineering. Key areas of study encompass engineering principles, particle technology, business management, pharmaceutical advancements, and bioengineering. All undergraduate engineering programs share a foundational first year, after which you can continue with your original path or transfer to a different program that better suits your aspirations. A Level: 120 UCAS Tariff points including Mathematics at grade C and one of Physics, Chemistry, or Further Mathematics at grade C.
BTEC National: 112 UCAS Tariff points from the Extended Diploma in an Engineering subject including both Mathematics units at Merit.
A Level and BTEC National: 120 UCAS Tariff points from the Diploma/Extended Certificate in an Engineering subject and A Level Mathematics at Grade C if Mathematics units for the BTEC National are not included.
A Level and BTEC National: 120 UCAS Tariff points from the Diploma/Extended Certificate in Applied Science and A Level Mathematics at Grade C.
International Baccalaureate: 26 points overall including Higher Level Mathematics at grade 5 and one of either Higher Level Physics or Chemistry, at grade 5.
Access to Higher Education Diploma: 120 UCAS Tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Science.
Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
