Understanding that each research project and student is unique, we provide adaptable support including shared workspace and comprehensive library/IT resources. MSc candidates typically complete two research methodology courses, which PhD students may also take.By advancing knowledge in your selected sociology specialization, you'll craft an independent research project with guidance from experienced academic advisors. Complete either a 30,000-word thesis for the MSc or an 80,000-word dissertation for the PhD program. Qualified MSc students may transition to the PhD track to expand their research.We equip you with comprehensive research competencies and professional skills through our innovative methodology curriculum and specialized workshops, fostering connections across university departments. Participate in our School's research colloquia and early career researcher events, with dedicated workspaces available at our Cheltenham campus.
