Delve into conceptual and theoretical topics within an inspiring and innovative setting. This MDes Graphic Design program enables you to expand your portfolio and steer your creative practice toward new opportunities and professional pathways. You'll be encouraged to enhance your communication and design research abilities, applying them to advanced problem-solving at the master's level. You'll investigate current developments in graphic design while gaining perspectives on worldwide trends and design conversations by blending genres and disciplines. We've recently established a collaboration with Cheltenham Borough Council's climate emergency team, where students tackle real-world projects that aid in researching and promoting these initiatives. Previous student work, such as the animated short "Whale Carbon," has been featured at Planted’s Green Grads exhibition during the 2021 London Design Festival. Whether you're an undergraduate advancing your education or a professional designer seeking to elevate your career beyond the everyday, our methods—focusing on spatial, visual, kinesthetic, and active learning—will refine your design approach and broaden your perspective on the world.
