You'll explore criminology and psychology to comprehend the roots and consequences of criminal behavior while pursuing accreditation from the British Psychological Society. With an emphasis on practical knowledge and abilities, you'll investigate what drives criminal actions, how crime impacts victims, and how the justice system functions. Your instructors combine their expertise in both fields to provide interdisciplinary perspectives. You can customize your curriculum to align with your career aspirations, whether that's becoming a forensic psychologist or entering law enforcement.
Our alumni pursue careers in psychology, justice systems, and police work. Some positions needing additional qualifications include roles in law enforcement, probation services, victim advocacy, crime research, and teaching. By completing the BPS-accredited pathway, you'll earn the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership - your initial milestone toward becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
