This program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive grasp of the scientific principles behind the body's Immune System (Immunology) and its connection to Inflammatory Disorders like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Asthma, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cardiovascular Disease. Graduates of this program frequently enter the biomedical sciences field, typically through PhD research, addressing the need for skilled researchers in inflammatory disease studies.

Qualification Requirements

You should have a 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent in biomedical science or a relevant subject. Alternative qualifications, professional experience and 2:2 applicants with a strong subject specific expertise will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. You are required to provide two references and a full degree transcript with your application.
Relevant subjects include but are not limited to biochemistry, biomedical science, genetics, immunology, microbiology, parasitology, pharmacology and virology.
